GITI ASSIST be to be powered by Tyre-Check
Peter Foulkes, European Marketing Manager at GITI Europe says, "We are in the process of launching a truck tyre
management programme called GITI ASSIST which will be powered using Tyre-Check's technologies. Tyre-Check is the ideal
partner for this ambitious project as they can offer a best in breed solution for the market."
Having evolved into China's largest producers of quality tyres during the past fifteen years, GITI Tire has now set
its ambitious sights on the highly competitive European market and recently opened a satellite sales headquarters in
Hilversum in the Netherlands.
The main objective of this new European objective is to create an ongoing sales momentum in the TBR business and to
this effect GITI Europe has recently announced a new partnership with Irish based company Tyre-Check, who are a
leading global specialist in Internet Tyre Management Solutions providing a full range of both software programmes
and hardware options for the industry.
GITI ASSIST will enable GITI Tire to become the very first Asian based manufacturer to achieve such a successful
tyre management service to the industry. The programme will be introduced initially in Germany in the near future
with the objective of engaging company fleets and making them aware of the benefits of this innovative facility.
The Tyre-Check solution is tailored to the specific needs of the GITI ASSIST programme which will go 'live' initially
in Germany with a view to eventually being accepted right across all European countries.
Peter adds, "GITI wish to add more value to the process of correct tyre management through the development of
GITI ASSIST which we will do in partnership with Tyre-Check."
