Our Total Service concept has ensured successful trials, pilots and implementations with leading well-established companies and businesses in the global tyre industry. TyreCheck provides its solutions on a software lease basis known as Software As A Service (SAAS). The applications are deployed across the Internet and we host and manage all the data. This means that our customers pay a recurring fee for the use of the system, we contract with them for a 3 year period. Personnel Profile
Michael O'Dwyer, Managing Director
Michael is a graduate of Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Limerick, Ireland, and has worked with leading manufacturing companies in the Semiconductor, ICT and Aerospace sectors for the past two decades. During this time, he specialized in using real time information systems to improve profitability and reliability of manufacturing processed and won the 'Innovation of the Year' at Schlumberger Aerospace in 1990.
In 1992, Michael founded CIMple Solutions which focused on the real time integration of plant and process within a clean room environment. CIMple Solutions won the PWC Newcomer Exporter of the Year in the UK in its 2nd year or operation and developed $10M in sales revenue in 1997. Core customers included Siemens Infineon, Philips, Motorola, Fujitsu, ST, Analog Devices and Jenoptik Infab. Key development partners included SAP, Digital Consulting, IBM, Fujitsu Services and Jenoptik Infab. CIMple had operations In Ireland, Scotland, Japan and the USA before being acquired by Jenoptik Infab in 1999.
Michael was active with several investment interests and assumed management responsibility for a number of ICT based companies in IRL, UK and The Netherlands before forming Async Technologies (TyreCheck) in 2005.
Jonathan Brennan, Commercial Director
Jonathan holds an honours degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications from the University of Limerick, Ireland. He was the founder and Managing Director of Relmar Ltd, which specialised in the development of relationship marketing software applications for aftermarket services in the aviation industry and banking industry. He was a finalist in "Entrepreneur in Industry 1999" with the University of Dublin.
In 2000, he was a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Aircraft Management Technologies (AMT), which successfully secured venture capital funding of €7 million. Their flagship product, FlightmanTM, was developed to streamline operations within the aviation industry. AMT was awarded the "Young Software Company of Year 2002" by the Irish Software Association and also received the ICT excellence award for "Best Example of Mobile Internet Technology" in 2003.
Subsequently, Jonathan took up the role of Head of R&D / Business Development for Fraysen Systems where he led the production of the first and second release of the company's product, ProcessPlusTM. He was also responsible for raising their initial funding round through private investor.
Jonathan joined Async Technologies in 2007 as commercial director.
